Charlotte overbust corset is based on a pattern from 1901. Charlotte is composed of 6 panels plus 2 hip panels, strengthened with spiral steel and flat boning and a non-stretch twill tape added to the waist to prevent stretching.

It is made of red brocade reinforced with buckram and twill inside. The corset is also lined with thin cotton material and decorated with flossing and hand-embroidered motif.
