Corset Care

Your corset is a carefully crafted garment designed to last for years with proper care. Following these recommendations will help preserve its shape, structure, and beauty.

Cleaning

  • Dry clean only.

  • Air out your corset after each wear to refresh the fabric and reduce the need for frequent cleaning.

  • If needed, gently clean the lining with a lightly damp cloth. Do not machine wash or soak.

Ironing

  • If ironing is required, use a low to medium heat setting and place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.

Storage

  • Store your corset flat or hang it by the laces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Avoid sharp folding, as this may affect the corset’s structure and boning over time.

Wearing

  • Loosen the laces before putting on your corset and tighten gradually and evenly for the best fit.

  • Allow your corset to rest between wears, giving the fabric and structure time to recover and helping preserve its shape over time.

  • For waist training corsets, regular rotation between wears is recommended to allow the corset to dry, recover its shape, and maintain its structure.
